AM 540 AM November 5 – 9

It’s election week.  Please for all our sakes, if you haven’t already voted, vote for the most liberal viable (this means you don’t vote for Jill Stein – even if you really do know what her positions are) candidate in each race.  KRXA’s endorsements are hereCoach and I will continue our wall-to-wall political coverage.

Understandably, calls tended to be sparse in our first hour.  If you call 888-579-KRXA then, you’ll have the best chance to talk to us for a few minutes rather than 30 to 60 seconds.

As always, we ask that you please forward this newsletter to any friend, relative, acquaintance, casual contact, frenemy, enemy, or nemesis, whom you think would enjoy learning about KRXA.

Don’t forget to become a facebook KRXA Five Forty Friend at www.facebook.com/groups/152169051511789/ or simply type fivefortyfriend into your Facebook search bar.

Expect as always the unexpected on AM 540 AM – including last-minute guest additions to the lineup.

  1. Arlen says:

Hal, you know I can’t let you get by with your “don’t vote for Jill Stein” declaration. I intend to vote for Ms. Stein because California’s 55 electoral votes are not in play. President Obama has a 15-point lead in California, according to the Field Poll released yesterday. A third-party protest vote will not help Romney or hurt Obama in this state. Open your mind and
    THINK FOR YOURSELF!

  2. The Lesser Rusty says:

Thinking for myself, I have voted for the moderate President Obama to help ensure he wins the nationwide popular vote – a small hedge against an Electoral College count rip-off and a contested election. I’m not interested in the going getting weird again…

  3. Arlen says:

KRXA Election Wind-Down/Celebration (we hope) Pizza Party Wednesday Nov 7, 5:00-6:30pm at Me ‘N Ed’s in Seaside (corner of Broadway and Fremont. Everyone (no matter how you voted) invited. (No Host, you pay)

  4. The Lesser Rusty says:

Honorable Senator Mitch Mcconnell … Sod off.
