The KRXA Morning Show July 18 – 22

Mindy and I just dropped Michael off at the bus for sleep-away camp.  His first extended time away from his family – we’re all excited and just a teensy bit apprehensive.  Before I get to this week’s lineup – a few announcements:

First,  I want to remind listeners about the Monday 7/18 lunch at Jim’s.  Browse to Five Forty Friend at facebook or listen to Coach on Monday for all the details.

Second, if I do say so myself, last week’s Morning Show was especially strong.  Among the many highlights, on Tuesday, listeners were treated to an in-depth discussion with Sheriff Scott Miller.  Wednesday, Articleman took us on his personal journey with President Obama.  Thursday, Eric Peterson from Monterey’s Green Party gave us his detailed and objective perspective of important developments along Highway 68 and in Marina.  And, Friday, Phil Butler of the Peace Resource Center, 1364 Fremont Boulevard, told us about this Friday’s event at 5pm with S. Brian Willson, author of Blood on the Tracks.

Third, Coach hosts tomorrow and then I’ll be in Monterey on Tuesday for the next two weeks, so call 831-899-5792, all week to join the fun.

Fourth, we’ve got another great week (aren’t they all?) lined up on KRXA between 8-10am.

Here’s what’s on tap:
