I’m still mending. Man this bronchitis has been debilitating. We have been authorized to stream the Progressive Voices feed so we will try out Bill Press, Thom Hartmann, and Sam Seder live this week. Mike Malloy and Stephanie Miller will be more challenging since we cannot carry them live but we will continue to explore the best way to bring you great shows every hour.

Being allowed to stream from PV is an awesome coup Hal! I thought RM was belly up for sure with the loss of the direct Westwood One feed, in part because I felt you no longer had your heart in the matter. Now if you could only find a source of hourly news…
I guess I also have to apologize to both PV & TuneIn for my assumption that they were in cahoots & muscling out local players like you. Ultimately, I think this arrangement with PV & Westwood One is actually in everybody’s best interest. While PV’s national programming offers a large national draw, their single stream cannot provide content (& ads) that provide local flavor synergistic with the national content. PV still has plenty of ways to monetize their stream, possibly with national ads, but I believe listeners prefer being loyal to a local source like yours.
What Shade said 🙂
I hope ya’ll like Seder. I’ve been listening to his podcast for three years – sharp and likes to have fun, though I don’t know what has transferred over to the radio show.
TIME CHANGE! Hal is stuck back East and is planning to fly in California on Saturday. To give him enough time, we’re moving our time on Saturday to 2pm.
