Hal’s Endorsements November 2014

Here are my endorsements in bold in selected races (I have provided down-ballot recommendations in California and Maryland):

U.S. SENATE – in all state races, except Kansas, I endorse the Democratic candidate:

Kansas – Greg Orman (Independent)

GOVERNOR  – in all state races except New York, I endorse the Democratic candidate, see note on New York below:

New York – Andrew Cuomo has been a major disappointment.  Nevertheless unlike his Republican opponent, he supports 1) (grudgingly) higher taxes on the wealthiest, 2) so far a temporary ban on fracking, and 3) universal pre-K.  His green opponent has no chance of winning but is better on the issues.

thanks for your votes as they are close to mine and thanks for not voting for Nancy Selfrige as she is sponsoring AT&T for cell towers behind Whole Foods , thanks Claudy

  3. Don’t forget Dan Presser for Airport Board, Hal. I’m in agreement with your endorsements, except for Prop. 46. There’s much to be said for it, except the part about mandatory drug testing for doctor’s with hospital privileges. For that reason, the ACLU is opposing 46, as am I.
